Keeping your data secure is our top priority. BioRankings uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) to access your data in a protected, efficient environment.

We require non-rarefied .csv taxa count files for each group

If you do not have your own data or wish to use a sample dataset:

Sample data sourced from:
A framework for human microbiome research | Human Microbiome Project Consortium

Steps to Start an Analysis:

  1. The first step is to name the first group which is shown below with the red #2. Next, browse to a taxa count file by clicking the 'browse' button. The red #3 and #4 show the browse button and the uploaded file name respectively.

  2. The first step is then repeated with a different taxa count file in the boxes below the initial data. This is illustrated in the below example with the labels #5, #6 and #7. Up to 4 files can be uploaded and compared at once but the demo dataset only uses 2.

  3. The final 2 steps are to name the data set (red #8) and click 'Submit Data Uploaded' (red #9).
